The full form of MBA(M.B.A.) is Master of Business Administration
The MBA is a master's degree in business administration(management)
The MBA is a professional degree which means it prepares the students in a particular field like marketing, finance etc.
Types of MBA
Full time MBA: Generally we prefer to do full time MBA which is of 2 years of time and divided into four semesters. The classes are conducted on regular basis.

Part time MBA: The time span of part time MBA is 3 years and this is specially for working professionals who unable to do a full time MBA and classes are conducted at evening time.
Executive MBA: The abbreviation of Executive MBA is EMBA which is designed for fulfilling the educational needs of managers and executives who having a long term work experience. The time span of EMBA is one year only.
Mini MBA : The Mini MBA programs contains less than hundred hours of learning. Only a particular subject or topic is taken into consideration during the course. The time limit of mini MBA is approximately 6 months.
Admission eligibility
To study MBA abroad you need to give GMAT exam along TOEFL.
To study MBA in India you need to give CAT/MAT/state level management exams like UPSEE
Graduation: Minimum 50% required
Note:- Please do not get confused with PGDM and MBA means PGDM is a 2 year diploma in management and MBA is a 2 year degree in business administration(management). Furthermore, MBA is recognised by a university along AICTE(All India Council for Technical Education) and PGDM is a diploma course which is offered by the institution that approved by AICTE so PGDM is equivalent to MBA.
